Lyle Lopez, also known as L.A. Lopez (born on June 1, 1985 in Quezon City) is a Filipino-American actor, singer, composer and performer. He stands as a Pastor and Inspirational Speaker. L.A. Lopez was "discovered" by the comedy Philippine king Dolphy Quizon in a talent search titled That's My Boy. He began his career as a child actor when he was cast in a role for John en Marsha 1991. Simultaneously, his first album under Ivory records entitled "Bulinggit Rap L.A. Lopez" was launched; this opened the door for an extensive discography. He then was offered to host a variety children's show in ABS-CBN: Eh Kasi Bata. Garnering several Awit Awards as a child singer from Best child performer as a solo artist and as a group when He worked alongside ABS-CBN once more for Awit, Titik, Bilang, ATBP; an educational children's show which garnered numerous recognitions. His filmography includes main cast, supporting roles, voice work and the like. He is also a bonafide stage actor; performing on stage for Broadway reviews and concerts in the Philippine stage and had also done shows in the U.S.A.After a lengthy career as a child star, featured in TV shows, soap operas and movies, he made a comeback on 2002 with the song "Yakap" which made it to the top Billboard charts and Radio countdowns in the Philippines. Continuously working with industry veterans in the Philippines and abroad; he released several hit singles such as "Ikaw Pa Rin" and his composition; "I See You."L.A. is a born-again Christian, and is currently the senior pastor and worship leader in Abundant Harvest Fellowship International, A missionary church from Crescent City Florida, planted at the heart of Quezon City Philippines. Focusing on Practical Christianity; L.A. shares broadcast sermons each Sunday through the church site, and social media. He also established Jzone Pinoy, the tagalog wing of the Christ Commission Fellowship's Youth Ministry Jzone. He studied Musical Theatre in Florida School of the Arts, U.S.A under the Presidential scholarship granted to him. He launched two albums in 2017 and 2018 respectively, “Love Never Fails” which is a Christian Album that garnered popularity in the US, Philippines and through online music distribution; and “Ikaw Pa Rin” under Star Music Ph which showcases the song “Ikaw Pa Rin” which held to the number one spot in MOR 101.9 Biga10 charts for several weeks "I See You" an original composition which became the theme for ABS-CBN's My Binondo Girl Love Team Jade and Andy. “Keep Playing the Game” Another original composition that stands as his anti-bullying anthem, which is one of his advocacies and “Ikaw Ang Pinangarap” which is a powerful song composed by the Musical directors of FPJ Ang Probinsyano Idonnah Villarico and Rommel Villarico. The album Ikaw Pa Rin has garnered 1.2 million streams off Spotify alone, a top pick in Apple Music and has racking up views in Youtube. His single, Change my Heart, Oh God has garnered 741,000 cumulative streams. He is currently working on new music which is slated for release in the Fall of 2025.Lyle Lopez has been called an icon during his child star days which transcended to adulthood. With a career spanning over 25 years in the entertainment industry; He remains as an impassioned artist who hopes to : "Make a difference through his craft by the grace of God." His passion is to inspire, instruct and encourage his fellow artists to live out kindness and goodness alongside their artistry.
